With the expansion of express railways and the development of the railway industry, educational training for employees working in the rail industry is becoming increasingly important. Simulation devices such as FTS and PTS can be used to supplement the main training courses for both students majoring railway and employees in the field. VR seems to provide valuable training experiences that present knowledge and techniques necessary for a variety of railway driving conditions. These devices are the relevant supplement to the daily hands-on experience for students and employees. In this context, this study examines whether VR simulators can be supplement devices for FTS and PTS used in the railway academy. Thus, three major hypotheses were derived. Then the factor analysis was adopted to produce significant factors that can be utilized in regression analysis. The research results reveal that VR simulator turn out to be effective supplement of providing educational simulation techniques.
